Ken Coomer
Lead Pastor
Pastor Ken and Joyce have served at Adairsville COG for over 20 years. They have raised three sons and have seven grandchildren. They have a heart for people and are always forward thinking of ways to minister to growing families. They believe in growing strong family units, rooted and grounded in God’s Word and they invest a lot of time toward this goal. They love to provide horses for our kid’s program, “Cowboy Church,” each Sunday, as well as our church youth camp each Summer. They also provide equine therapy for Veterans and for the community. They focus on ministering to the whole individual, body, mind and spirit. Pastor Ken always likes to say, “If you don’t have a home church, welcome home!”
Heidi and Christian Coomer
Worship Experiences Pastor/Executive Team
Heidi has served at Adairsville Church of God since 2005. Prior to coming to ACOG she served at The Torch in Cornelia, GA, and Bethesda Church of God in SC. Heidi and Chris have served in ministry together for 23 years and they have three children, Collin, Vivian, and Christian and his wife, Lydia, who also serve in ministry. Heidi graduated from Lee University in 2000 with a degree in Church Music. While at Lee, she sang in Lee University Campus Choir and Power Unlimited, ministering at COG Winterfests and Youth Camps. Chris graduated from Lee University in 1996 and finished his Juris Doctor from University of Georgia in 1999. He has served in the Georgia State House from 2010-2018. Together they love advancing the Kingdom of God.
Jeremy Borromeo
Lifeforce Pastor
Jeremy and his wife MaKayla have served at Adairsville Church of God since 2019. Jeremy is a dynamic speaker and leads our teens and young adults to walk close to our Savior and inspires them to dig into the Word of God to become world changers. He ensures each week is fun-filled with opportunities to stay active and exited with events like Fall Retreat, Winter Jam, Summer Youth Camp at Camp Legacy, Winterfest, and more. Each week he leads them to enjoy the presence of God with worship and prayer.
Becca Martin
Cowboy Church Pastor
Becca and her husband Keith have attended Adairsville Church of God for over twenty years. Becca has served as our children’s pastor since 2020. They have three children, Raylan, Katelin, and Jason. They lead a dynamic team of volunteers who all coordinate to make “Cowboy Church” a success. Each Sunday the horses arrive to see all the kids and every child gets a chance to ride horses weekly. Becca encourages all the children to read the Bible daily and grow in their personal relationship with God.
Melissa and Travis Flemons
Discipleship Pastor
Melissa Flemons has served at Adairsville Church of God since 2012. She and her husband are a dynamic team and work tirelessly in our outreach and community events as well as serving in the music department and pastoral team. Melissa is a gifted communicator and preaches and teaches regularly. She has a passion to help those in need and is always available to pray and help others along their journey in Christ.
